| Lil' Ed Williams was born April 18, 1955 in Chicago. Williams recieved childhood encouragement from his uncle, the legendary blues, slide guitarist J.B. Hutto. Lil' Ed's slide-driven sound evokes the houserocking blues of Hound Dog Taylor and Elmore James defined in the '50s and '60s. His untamed stage presence, and high toe-walks through the crowd are unremittingly entertaining.
