Shelby Lynne is an iconoclastic country singer-songwriter and actress, who is defiantly out of step with country music trends. In 2001 she won a Grammy for Best New Artist, even though she had already released 6 albums. In the Johnny Cash biographical film, "Walk The Line," Lynne portrayed Johnny Cash's mother.
